Showtime 2: Dharmatic Entertainment is back with the new season

The web show Showtime from Dharmatic Entertainment has taken the online world by storm. Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, and Mahima Makwana are among the actors in the first five episodes, which have been praised by both fans and reviewers. Building on this momentum, the creators have now announced that all 12 episodes will be available to watch. They have also released an exciting new trailer that promises to make things even more exciting.

The official trailer that Showtime just posted shows a big change in the plot. Bad things happen to Emraan Hashmi’s character when he loses his Victory Studio and an eager entertainment reporter played by Mahima Makwana takes it over. The character played by Naseeruddin Shah plans this twist because he thinks Makwana would be a better studio manager.

Mouni Roy, famed for her dance numbers, plays a spy thriller, proving her acting range. Her character’s development is a highlight of the forthcoming episodes, offering an exciting storyline.

The teaser also suggests Emraan Hashmi and Rajeev Khandelwal are at odds. Hashmi wants his studio back, demonstrating Makwana is unfit to run it. The following episodes explore the celebrity industry and celebrities’ personal struggles through this power struggle.

Once a leading Bollywood actor, Emraan Hashmi has recently played antagonist or secondary roles. His latest film, Selfiee, with Akshay Kumar, was a box office flop. Hashmi’s character in Showtime mirrors his real-life struggles, adding authenticity to his performance.

Showtime entertains and shows celebrities’ behind-the-scenes lives. It shows the pressures and challenges celebrities undergo, reminding audiences that not all that glitters is gold. With its drama, intrigue, and authenticity, the series will be captivating.

Showtime directors Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar add their unique vision and storytelling skills to the series. Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Mihir Desai produce the program, ensuring outstanding production quality and an engaging story. Anand Bhaskar’s music enhances the series’ drama.

Fans of high-stakes drama and engaging storytelling should watch all 12 Showtime episodes on DisneyPlus Hotstar on July 12.
